Jorge and Adrianna's Wedding

I had a great time at Jorge and Adrianna's Wedding and Reception.  I could have used some translation assistance from Sylvia, Michelle, Daniel or Alex,  but no worreis - we had a great time!  The food was delicious, and the whole family came to party!

Melissa and Andy - Engagement Session

Melissa and Andy took care in choosing the location for their engagement session.  They landed on Faust Park.  Its a unique park - some areas feel country, while another area has a beach house feel to it.  We took advantage of the sunset lighting.  Thanks to my good friend and Photographer Michelle Ross - she offered some helpful tips a while back when I asked for suggestions on shooting that "vintage sunset lense flare" look.  She let me know that there is no perfect way to do it,  just try all kinds of angles and see what you can get.   Andy and Melissa were even brave enough to wander out into the open field when it got dark for some fun spotlight shots (and by fun, I mean I'm glad it was you two out there and not me... don't the raccoons and porcupines start moving around at dark!?)

Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyons and Zion National Park

Horseshoe Bend is the location where the Colorado River changes direction. Its near the Antelope Canyons in Page, Arizona. The Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons are run by the Navajo Indians.  The Upper Canyons are easier to access - you just walk right in.  The Lower Canyons are more of an adventure to navigate.  A few hour drive back towards Las Vegas is Zion National Park in Utah.  We rented dry suits to wade through the Narrows.  If you're looking for an adventure, fly in to Vegas, drive to these two parks, then head back to Vegas for some fun.  You only need a day to see the Slot Canyons.  All photos here are available for purchase at the Print Shop:  www.etsy.com/shop/rgallagherphoto
