Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyons and Zion National Park

Horseshoe Bend is the location where the Colorado River changes direction. Its near the Antelope Canyons in Page, Arizona. The Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons are run by the Navajo Indians.  The Upper Canyons are easier to access - you just walk right in.  The Lower Canyons are more of an adventure to navigate.  A few hour drive back towards Las Vegas is Zion National Park in Utah.  We rented dry suits to wade through the Narrows.  If you're looking for an adventure, fly in to Vegas, drive to these two parks, then head back to Vegas for some fun.  You only need a day to see the Slot Canyons.  All photos here are available for purchase at the Print Shop:  www.etsy.com/shop/rgallagherphoto

Surf Study - Malibu and Laguna Beach

I've always wanted to surf, and I just got a little closer to it.  It was interesting to see how they wait for just the right wave, start swimming, stand up, then adapt to the water.  Glad I had my 70-200 to capture this 10 shot sequence.  I can't wait to get out there next time and try it myself!

Los Angeles to San Diego

Had an aweseome time in California, even fell asleep at Venice Beach.  90210 really is 90210- ritzy everything... cars, houses, even the trees and bushes look fancy!  Thank you to Mike and Joel for showing me around.  No shame in name dropping here...at dinner Michael Trucco (Revenge, How I Met Your Mother) and his Wife Sandra Hess (CSI, General Hospital)  kept asking us about our food!  I also included some shots from the plane on the way in to Phoenix - always interesting seeing things from up there.
